Raven's Reviewer of the Month Award Archive...

Here they are, all of the reviewers who have ever won the "Reviewer of the Month" award. Most recent winners are on top.

Reviewers of the Month, 2000

The month of January saw Dragon receive her first Reviewer of the Month award, though she has been an amazing source of support for this site for several months, adding both book reviews and images to our humble pages. Her work for this month can be seen on the pages of L. E. Modesitt, Anne McCaffrey, David Eddings, and Terry Brooks. The images she has worked so hard on include the award images, the site banners, and the main site image on the main page.

Close behind Dragon was the ever-helpful Bina, who doesn't need another award image quite this soon ^_^.

Reviewers of the Month, 1999

Due to other commitments by reviewers, the reviews came in slowly this month. Bina, however, continued to plug away as she always does, sending in reviews for C.J. Cherryh's "Faded Sun" trilogy and Terry Pratchett's "Discworld" series, along with a nomination list and the author award for last month. Danke, sempai!

Honorable Mention for December goes to Roberto, the only other reviewer to turn anything in. Others I would like to honor if they give me any excuse include Sarah and Dragon, both of whom have worked very hard this past year.

The "Raven's Reviewer" award for November was overwhelmingly won by Tim for his beautiful full-page work-ups of Neil Gaiman and H. P. Lovecraft. He also sent in a review of Umberto Eco.

The "Raven's Reviewer" award for October was won by Bina despite stiff competition. Her work for the month can be seen on the pages of Terry Prachett, Debra Doyle and James D. Macdonald, Julie E. Czerneda, John Barnes, and Charles De Lint. She also checked several pages for grammer and spelling errors. This was the most competitive month we've had yet. (Yes, Dragon, you were a close second)

The very first "Raven's Reviewer of the Month" (for September, 1999) is Roberto. Congratulations! His work for September can be seen on the pages of Larry Niven, Neil Stephenson, and Orson Scott Card. Thank you, Roberto!

In fairness, I have retrospectively given the August 1999 award to Tim. His work for the summer can be seen on the pages of Diana L. Paxson, Future Boston Project, R. A. Salvatore, and Alexandre Dumas. Thank you, Tim!
